The church and its history

Masterpiece of French classicism, Saint-Sulpice is the largest church in Paris.

Built from the 17th century, it houses an exceptional artistic heritage: frescoes by Delacroix, a grand Cavaillé-Coll organ, an astronomical gnomon, and nineteen richly decorated chapels.

Thanks to the ongoing restorations and the generosity of its donors, the church is gradually regaining its original splendor.
