Preserve and bring to life an exceptional heritage in the heart of Paris
The Saint-Sulpice Fund, housed by the Foundation for the Future of Heritage in Paris, aims to support the restoration and enhancement of the Saint-Sulpice Church, the largest church in Paris, a jewel of Parisian heritage located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. Saint-Sulpice stands out for its imposing architecture and artistic treasures, including the famous frescoes by Delacroix, one of the largest organs in the world, and an astronomical gnomon. Every year, hundreds of thousands of visitors discover this unique building, testifying to its central place in Parisian heritage.

Depuis 2016, la Fondation Avenir du Patrimoine à Paris accompagne Saint-Sulpice afin de permettre le lancement de chantiers de restauration grâce aux dons et mécénats. Créée en 2014, la Fondation Avenir du Patrimoine à Paris œuvre à la sauvegarde et à la valorisation des églises historiques de Paris et de leurs chefs-d’œuvre. Tout se fait en partenariat avec la Ville de Paris, qui assure la conservation et la restauration de son patrimoine, ainsi qu’avec les curés de paroisses et les associations locales.
Son ambition est forte : rendre aux églises leur splendeur afin de transmettre aux générations actuelles et futures ce patrimoine exceptionnel.
En 11 ans, grâce à la générosité du public, plus de 100 projets ont été soutenus dans 28 églises parisiennes, pour un montant total avoisinant les 16,4 millions d’euros.
Le Fonds Saint-Sulpice participe directement à la préservation des œuvres d’art telles que les décors peints, les sculptures, les vitraux, et de l’architecture.
